Choosing Maths at Merriwa Central School

Marvellous Maths is alive and well at Merriwa Central School!  Last week, 15 families and 30 children spent a magical evening back at school learning to have fun with Maths!

We are so fortunate to have the talent of Mr Marcus Garrett, from AMSI (Australian Mathematical Sciences Institute) working with staff and students across both campuses to enrich and engage us all in Maths.

Thanks so much to Mr Garrett, our Principal Mr Noonan, and to the primary teaching staff, who put many hours of preparation into this fantastic opportunity and then came along on the night.

We are already planning our next fun evening of learning for families – watch this space!
