Kindergarten Orientation - Welcome to Big School

An exciting morning for our new students as they completed many fun activities together whilst getting to know each other.  As nerves subsided, the students listened beautifully to stories, explored our school grounds, ate healthy snacks for fruit break and danced to some songs and nursery rhymes.

New students were also introduced to a group of fantastic Year 4 and 5 students who have volunteered to be caring buddies during transition.  These Buddies will meet our new students on Tuesday mornings and help them learn our school routines.  They will also be familiar faces in the playground and encourage our new students to join in on games and activities during play times.

Our transition program will continue next Tuesday and students will once again attend from 9am till 11.00am.  Please remember to pack a piece of fruit, water bottle and a hat for when we go outside.  We look forward to seeing you all again next week.
