Students receive TAFE award for completing Automotive Course

During Term IV a number of Merriwa Central School Students aged 15 years or older have had the opportunity to attend a short course of their interest through the TAFE YES programme one day a week for six weeks.     The automotive course was held at the Merriwa Men’s Shed and we would like to thank them for their assistance in making this opportunity available to our students in Merriwa.  A number of our students attended the course in automotive and on Friday they received their certificates for attending and had a celebratory bar-b-que.  We would like to thank Annabelle McLaughlin  from TAFE and John Parrey  for working with The Merriwa Men’s Shed to make this opportunity possible.
