Transition for 2020 Year 7 Students

Is your student entering Year 7 in 2020?

An orientation information evening presented by Year Adviser Mr Harley Hannon, will be held on Thursday 17 October at 6.30pm in the Secondary Library.  

Moving from Primary to Secondary is a major step and an exciting time for students and families.  It’s a time for big changes in your child’s life and talking about these changes will help lead to a positive experience. Your child’s transition from Year 6 is significantly influenced by their sense of belonging, relationships with peers and teachers and the support for learning they receive at school and at home.  Our transition evening discusses a range of strategies and practices that we can implement that may assist students in a successful transition.  Come along and meet other new and returning parents and our enthusiastic staff.
